5 Stars: "Just hosted a 12 person bachelor party here and had a great time. The cabin was much bigger than expected and very nice. Plenty comfortable for sleeping 12 people and the grocery store is just a mile away if you forgot anything. Everyone told me constantly how impressed they were with the cabin and the trip in general. Lance and Lisa were a pleasure and delivered plenty of firewood for us before we got there. Joe Malloy's catering (crab boil, pig roast, bloody mary breakfast) was excellent and we enjoyed his shuttle service to our different events. The view from the huge balcony of the cabin was amazing and you could hear the river from it, very peaceful. It was also the perfect place for our 3 piece Cajun/Zydeco band Friday evening. The whitewater rafting trip through pocono whitewater was excellent as well and we enjoyed visiting Jim Thorpe for a pub crawl one afternoon. The final morning the 3 of us that were still standing hiked down to the river for a cold plunge and sat on the rocks for a while taking it all in while waving at kayaks and rafters going by. Excellent trip on all fronts! Thank you Lance and Lisa!" ~ Cory M

5 Stars: "To anyone reading this, you can stop looking for other rentals now! Our group of 12 had a fantastic 3 nights on President's day weekend at this cabin. The owners were extremely accommodating. One of the things that you might find throughout the Poconos, as a renter, is a good amount of "bad ownership", this of course referring to other owners of rental properties who really don't care once you've paid your deposit in full. The Owners here were amazing! They called me asking what they could do to make my stay more enjoyable. They made great recommendations for food and fun for our group. They were there when we needed them, no matter what time of day. One of the things that sets this cabin apart from the rest is the location of the cabin, the fantastic views, the layout and ownership. The property was 100% clean and you could tell this is a year round maintenance operation. We really enjoyed the location of this cabin - close to everything. Contrary to some other locations, this cabin is far enough away, but close enough at the same time. For instance, you can have a late-night fire and conversation without disturbing any neighbors. All in all, I have already told these fantastic owners of our plans to re-visit." ~ Jordan S

5 Stars: "I came upon this property when searching for a private secluded upscale place to host a bachelor party with 13 guys. Lance and Lisa were the absolute best with communication and providing all necessary info including activities, events, and places to eat. The cabin has everything you could possibly need and more. The two BBQ's on site are plenty enough to cook for a big group, the fire pit is well spaced out, and the back porch is perfect for hanging out. Its quite large, has plenty of seating and even included a patio bed which i personally slept on overnight. You can hear the river from the house and the bike path is right below for easy access. We had zero complaints about the house from anyone and everyone actually loved that it was different from generic style homes. I would seriously recommend this to anyone who is looking for a cool place to get away to. Thank you Lance and Lisa!!!!" ~ Sebastian R

5 Stars: "Working with Lance and Lisa was an absolute pleasure. They answered all of my questions, were very accommodating, made helpful suggestions and were always available to speak to. The cabin was absolutely amazing. It is off the beaten path, which is exactly what I was looking for. The descriptions and pictures provided are exactly what you get - the cabin is actually even better in person. At the cabin, we had a BBQ, bonfires, pig roast and we even rented a dunk tank. There are also many activities to do nearby which makes the location really ideal. We went to skirmish paintball, white water rafting and casinos. These were just some of the local activities that we chose to do. This cabin exceeded all of my expectations. I would highly recommend this cabin for any occasion - whether it’s a bachelor party or a family trip. It is truly a home away from home." ~ Kenneth M.

5 Stars: "We rented Fat Rabbit for a large group and all I can say is that everything was top notch! All were impressed with what this huge cabin offers (fireplace, pool table, nice big TV's, etc.). The area is beautiful, remote and a great place to unwind and relax. Some went for hikes on the trail right behind the cabin and a few went to golf at Mountain Laurel which is right across the river. The outdoor fireplace and charcoal grills were perfect for hanging out and cooking dinner. I would go again in a heartbeat. Lance and Lisa were a joy to work with and they made sure we were all set for the weekend. They answer questions right away and were very accommodating." ~ Francois H

Lehigh Gorge State Park: Lehigh Gorge State Park contains 4,548 acres of land and about 30 miles of the Lehigh River. Recreational opportunities include: hiking, biking, hunting, fishing, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and whitewater boating. About 26 miles of abandoned railroad grade follow the river and are available to hiking and biking and provide access for hunting and fishing. Whitewater rafting is a major attraction of the park. This section of the Lehigh River is Class III whitewater and is popular for rafting, kayaking and canoeing. The rafters can be seen and heard from our deck!
